Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Decision Timeout stores the following information locally on your device:

• Decision entries — the decisions you create, including pros, cons, options, and outcomes
• User preferences — your app settings, such as timer defaults and display preferences

This data is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

What We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Location data
• Contact information
• Financial information
• The content of your decisions

No Account Required

Decision Timeout does not require you to create an account or sign in. You can start using the app immediately without providing any personal information.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the app experience. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users. Analytics may include:

• App opens and session duration
• Feature usage patterns (anonymized)
• Device type and operating system version
• Crash reports (without personal data)

No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, rent, or trade your data with any third parties. Your decision data stays on your device and is never accessed by us or anyone else.

Data Security

Since your data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features, including:

• Device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID protection
• iOS app sandboxing
• Encrypted device storage

We recommend keeping your device software up to date to ensure you have the latest security protections.

Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. To delete your Decision Timeout data:

• Delete individual decisions within the app
• Uninstall the app to remove all stored data

Since no data is stored on our servers, uninstalling the app permanently removes all your Decision Timeout data.

Children's Privacy

Decision Timeout is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the app or other appropriate means. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
